A Better Tomorrow?

To the profound future I venture,

Dwelling away from the miseries of the past,

Stepping into new beginnings.

As I dwell into the unknown,

I see mankind's wildest imaginations true

But at the cost of what?

We no longer hold the tokens of humanity;

Hearts without Greed no more exist,

Lives without pain are just a mere myth,

Eyes filled with tears of sadness and sorrow.

We have lost all we had for this barren land of temporary happiness.

If this is the future, I don't want a tomorrow.
