Confession of a Gossiper

Her hollow eyes,

her shallow heart,

her breathtaking lips,

as smooth as velvet.

She's a gossip girl.

Living in those borrowed memories,

seeking refuge from loneliness;

Hiding in the shadows of insecurities.

She's tired of running,

But she can't stop.

She won't stop.

She knows reality will rip her apart.

But reality often plays foul;

Pulling her back to the materialistic web,

their memories being her only solace.

Their memories being on the tip of her soft lips as reality pulls her in his embrace.
