I’m hoping you know your worth
That those acne scars don’t define you
That the marks on a sheet don’t prove your worth,
The way you dress, isn’t supposed to please all,
That the way you feel only matters to you.
There is no age to 'feel' something
Puberty hits all,
Heartbreak breaks all.
You should only care for your happiness
The world will keep expectations
Because they had their own,
So they pass it on.
Your gender should only make sense to you,
Your sexuality is for to understand,
Your pronouns are to make you feel comfortable
No other can say otherwise.
You are a beautiful creature may I say.
If the others don't support you,
Look in the mirror. That beautiful soul right there,
Is what will get you through it all.
