Myths.

They’re just a few statements passed around by our parents, relatives and friends.

Some believe them, but some don’t.

One of the most famous myths you may have heard from your parents is that chewing gum stays in your stomach and sticks in there forever. Well, at this rate, I might have two or three of them in there.

We used to sit in front of the TV, too close. They told us, you’ll go blind.

I should have, almost like a hundred times by now. I don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet.

The tooth fairy will put money under your pillow when you keep your broken tooth under it overnight. I did it. Got four rupees, which seemed like a huge deal. I was so happy, and I almost believed it. Almost.

There are so many such myths which our parents tell us, which are lowkey fun. These few things make our childhood, ours. Our parents also said, you are the most talented kid in the world.
