// Trigger warning //
"Why are you wearing long sleeves, it's hot outside"
"It is just a hug, we won’t bite"
"Why aren’t you eating?"
"Quit being so melodramatic"
"It’s just a phase"
"Why don’t you try hard enough"
"Where are you lost?"
She still hopes you could forgive her,
For the scars that still bleed,
The thoughts that never stop
And those all times,
When one stepped close and the goosebumps arose.
She still hopes that you realise
That she tried to explain
But all you ever did was push her away.
Maybe she was melodramatic,
Or maybe she trusted you.
It might have been a phase,
A phase where she thought you understood.
She wanted to scream, shout, and yell.
Her voice was lost somewhere.
All that ever comes out is a
"I am fine, don’t worry. :)"
If I tell you her last words
Will you break, like you broke her?
Will you cry, like she did every night?
Will you regret everything, like she did?
“I am sorry, I wasn’t good enough.”
