Time's Child

Through the years of hardships

An Eden emerged;

A true haven of peace,

A world of prosperity,

A cradle of growth.

“Change the course of time”, Destiny instructed

“Undo the wrongs”, the Fates said

All to a mere child who couldn't speak.

He didn't say a word, just kept changing the world

Spreading a wave of goodwill, for that's all he knew

Thousands of pleas, thousands of wishes push him below the surface Choking him with expectations

But he stood still as his thoughts lost control

And yet you blame him for the chaos called our "future".
